Members of ParkinsonVRMove are invited to an Extraordinary General Assembly to consider amendments to two articles of the statutes.
These amendments aim to meet the conditions for tax exemption in the canton of Geneva. If granted, this exemption should in particular allow donors to apply for tax deductions on their donations, subject to the rules that apply to them.
What changes will be proposed?
Article 4 — Use of funds
Specify that the club’s funds are allocated exclusively and irrevocably to its public-benefit purposes.
Article 13 — Voluntary work of the Committee
Confirm that Committee members serve on a voluntary basis. Only expenses actually incurred for the club may be reimbursed, upon presentation of supporting documents. The possibility of compensation for activities beyond the usual scope of the role would be removed.

- Opening of the Extraordinary General Assembly.
- Appointment of the person responsible for the minutes.
- Presentation of the proposed amendments.
- Discussion.
- Vote on the amendments to the statutes.
- Authorisation for the Committee to complete the procedures with the cantonal tax administration.
- Any other business: members’ questions and discussion.
- Closing of the meeting.
Under Article 9 of the statutes, amendments to the statutes must be approved by a two-thirds majority of the members present.
