Meeting online on 13 October 2026, the members present at the Extraordinary General Assembly unanimously adopted several decisions concerning the life of the club.
Martin Ewert was elected president with immediate effect on 13 October 2026. He succeeds Franck Anthonioz, who remains a member of the committee. The club thanks Franck for his commitment as president and welcomes Martin to his new responsibilities.
The annual membership fee for 2027 was set at CHF 30 per member. The membership fee for 2026 remains CHF 20.
The General Assembly also adopted amendments to the club’s statutes. These specify that the club’s funds are allocated exclusively and irrevocably to its public-benefit purposes, confirm that committee members serve on a voluntary basis and clarify the committee’s decision-making rules.
These amendments support preparations for an application for public-benefit tax exemption. The granting of this exemption and the tax deductibility of donations have not yet been confirmed.
