To mark World Parkinson’s Day, the Neurology Department at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), together with people living with Parkinson’s, offered a day of talks, personal accounts and workshops. Below is the programme announced for 30 April 2026.

10:00 — The origins of Parkinson’s disease
Dr Vanessa Fleury, associate attending physician and head of the Movement Disorders Unit, HUG.

10:30 — Managing anxiety
Sandra Baudois, psychologist in the Geriatric Psychiatry Service, HUG.

11:00 — Introducing ParkinsonVRMove: movement and virtual reality
Presented by a person living with Parkinson’s.

11:15 — Physiotherapy workshops
Anne-Laure Murer, music therapist, Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics, HUG.

11:45 — Various physiotherapy workshops with music
Led by HUG physiotherapists.
